Flower Pod

              Flowers leave behind some beautiful homes after they bloom and the petals disappear. This small vessel is created from clay slip mixed from paper and molded over a balloon. Acrylic paints are applied after the kiln firing (over 1800 degrees) to enhance the exterior texture inspired by nature. The golden interior invites the warmth of the sun!
